ALTRAD Belle raises £1000 for Flash and Longnor Community First Responders

ALTRAD Belle raises £1000 for Flash and Longnor Community First Responders

Over the past 12 months the employees at Altrad Belle, based in the village of Sheen, have been raising money for the Flash and Longnor Community First Responders.

A Christmas Raffle was held last year with employees buying tickets to be in with a chance of winning one of a selection of prizes. There were many items donated by a number of loyal customers and suppliers, for which Altrad Belle is very grateful. There were also a number of items included in the Raffle donated by the company itself.

As an addition to the Raffle there were also Silent Auctions held throughout the year with employees bidding to win items such as Sat-Nav’s and All-Terrain Kid’s Wagons, also donated to the company by suppliers.

In total, through the various initiatives they have managed to raise £1000 for the voluntary group who cover the Staffordshire Moorlands area between the villages of Longnor, Flash, Warslow and Sheen.

The Cheque was handed over to the Flash and Longnor Community First Responders as they visited Altrad Belle to give a training course in basic First Aid and how to use the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) which was installed at the Altrad Belle, Sheen site in 2015.

Altrad Belle would like to extend their thanks to the many suppliers and customers who donated items and to the Flash and Longnor Community First Responders for their continued assistance.
