Belle Group at ScotPlant 2010 Review

Belle Group consolidated its position as the No 1 Supplier for Light Construction Equipment to the UK Plant & Equipment Market by exhibiting its latest range of products at Scotplant 2010.

The main objective of the show was to launch of a number of new & exciting group products including Fort wheelbarrows, Façade tower and Plettac multi-directional scaffolding. The interest received was incredibly high and bolstered the group view that the products would prove to have UK demand.

Despite torrential rain on day one of the show, and gale-force winds on the second, turn-out was high.

Contractors and Plant & Equipment companies took the opportunity to see the new ranges close-up and learn more about them.  Indeed there were a significant number of orders placed at the show – hopefully indicating the construction market is slowly recovering from the recession.

For the first time the Belle and Baromix ranges of mixers were exhibited side by side, and the introduction of the Fort range of wheelbarrows has now enabled customers to benefit from the widest offering from the Worlds largest Mixer and Wheelbarrow manufacturer.

New and improved high performance Plate Compactors – with the lowest levels of HAV ever and an all-new Trench Rammer were also launched at the show as the group continues its investment in developing equipment to meet the demands of both contractors and the rental market. Clever design changes to benefit both the user and the hirer have been incorporated into the new range of Hydraulic Packs and Breakers and these were greatly received by the many visitors to the stand.

Undoubtedly though, the show stoppers were the Façade and Plettac multi-directional scaffolding products which see Belle enter the UK market on the back of support from its parent company and Europe’s larges scaffolding provider Altrad Group.
